Food Truck Rodeos are Back! See you March 26th!

Join us for our Summer Food Truck Rodeo! We are moving the event back to Main Street! Join us for a wide variety of food trucks and artisan vendors, and grab a beverage from one of our social district locations!
The event will be rain or shine! We ask that no pets enter the event area.

On Main Street from Montague St. to Griffin St.

Showcasing Garner’s creativity outside in Downtown Garner. Bring the pups and the kiddos for this family-friendly event. Sip on wine or local beer while you shop over 50 vendors and grab a bite to eat from our monthly rotation of food trucks.

Town of Garner hiring new Downtown & Small Business Development Manager

The Town of Garner is seeking a Downtown and Small Business Development Manager to promote and support the creation and retention of small businesses throughout the Garner community and the development of the Downtown/North Garner area as a vibrant business, residential, entertainment and cultural center through appropriate revitalization, redevelopment and preservation activities in partnership with government and private organizations.  

The ideal candidate values community and relationship building with stakeholders, thrives as an enthusiastic cheerleader for Garner’s small businesses, and can turn ambitious vision for Garner’s future into practical action plans. 

Work is performed under general supervision of the Economic Development Director.  Some weekend and evening work is required.
