These handmade, semi-sweet chocolate peanut butter eggs are more than a treat. Every egg you buy helps fund the Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship Fund, supporting local students as they take their next step after high school.

What you’re buying

Each egg is 4 oz. of rich chocolate outside + sweet, creamy peanut butter center inside.

  • $7 each
  • Order online by March 15
  • Pick up March 31st (2:00–7:00 PM)

(There’s also a QR code on the flyer if you’re a “scan and go” person.)

Why this fundraiser matters

The Garner Woman’s Club has been investing in students and the Garner community for generations. The club was founded in 1928, and one of our long-standing commitments has been providing scholarships for outstanding students.

In fact, the scholarship tradition that became the Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship began back in 1963, when the club voted to award an annual scholarship to a graduating senior recognized for academics, citizenship, and leadership. Over the years, that support has grown as the community has grown.

So when you buy an egg, you’re not just grabbing an Easter treat. You’re helping continue a legacy of supporting students who are working hard and aiming high.

  • Align your business with local pride and downtown revitalization

  • Engage face-to-face with residents, families, and visitors

  • Support programs that strengthen small businesses and the local economy

What Sponsorship Looks Like:

Our 2026 sponsorship opportunities are designed to be flexible and impactful, with options to support:

Sponsors receive recognition through on-site signage, digital promotion, social media, and other tailored benefits depending on sponsorship level.

Investing in Community Impact:

With the support of our sponsors, DGA has been able to reinvest directly into Downtown Garner—providing business grants, hosting inclusive community events, and creating welcoming public spaces that encourage people to shop, dine, and gather downtown.

When you sponsor Downtown Garner, you’re not just supporting events—you’re investing in the continued growth and success of our community.
