We are revamping a favorite among locals and visitors alike, with our FREE concert series featuring local and regional party bands playing classic rock and pop, 70s, 80s, and 90s hits, R&B dance, Top 40, country, and Motown favorites. Our Groovin' in Garner concerts take place on the lawn space at the Garner Recreation Center.

Please Note: If you prefer different genres, shows or activities, the Town of Garner has you covered with a variety of performances at the Garner Performing Arts Center (GPAC Schedule) and Garner Parks and Recreation offers a variety of town events.

Meet Jim Quick & Coastline: A Soulful and Genuine Piece of Americana!

Over 25 years in the making, Jim Quick and Coastline, like their namesake the Atlantic Coastline Railroad,
have been traveling the "tracks" of the southeast and connecting with the hearts of loyal "Coastline Crazies."
Pulling from the threads of Soul, Blues, R&B, and Americana, Jim Quick and Coastline weave together
their own genre of music known as Swamp Soul. Delivered with precision by front man Jim Quick and
his band, this group captures the true, honest spirit of
traditions born and bred in the small southern towns of America.

• Concerts START at 6:30 p.m. and continue until 9:30 p.m.

• Chairs should not be placed in the green space area until after 4:30 p.m.

While you're downtown, you're invited to visit our Main Street merchants or enjoy delicious food from a variety of food trucks that will be on site at each event. Adult Beverages

No outside alcohol will be permitted during the event, but beer and wine will be available for purchase at Zin Yoga Studio and Wine Lounge and Shady's Bar. Grab a drink-to-go and enjoy the social district. Alcohol vendors manage their own alcohol sales and are responsible for identification checks as required by law.

Parking

Free parking is available along Main Street, and at the Garner Recreation Center, the Garner Lions Club, and Garner Baseball.

Items Not Allowed

NO outside alcohol allowed (compliance with our Social District permit with the ABC Commission).

Also, as much as we love your furry family members, we respectfully ask that you please leave your pets at home.
