Photos from the First April Food’s Day

A big thank you to everyone who attended Downtown Garner’s First April Food’s Day Food Truck Rodeo.

Presented by Planet Fitness, HomeTowne Realty of Garner, and the Town of Garner in partnership with the Garner Revitalization Association.

Over 4,000 people came out to Downtown Garner and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

14 food trucks were in attendance serving everything from cheeseburgers and melts, to hibachi and empanadas, to ice cream and cupcakes.

3 local breweries including Brice’s, Brueprint, and Deep River Breweries were on site pouring ice cold beer.

A variety of craft vendors were selling apparel, bath and body products,  wood and metal crafts, and so much more.

Kids of all ages had a great time at the Kid’s Zone sponsored by Garner Police Athletics Activities League (Garner PAAL) where they enjoyed face painting, corn hole, and crafts.

Family and friends gathered to spend time together while enjoying music played by My Cousin Skinny and performances put on by local youth attending TheGifted Arts.

Thanks again for your support and for making this event such a great success!  We hope to see you at upcoming Downtown Garner events including the pop-up markets starting later this summer and the Trick or Eat Food Truck Rodeo coming back this Fall!
